On October 18, 2008, Elizabeth Brubaker spoke at the Canadian Constitution Foundation’s annual law conference, Individual Freedom and the Common Good. Along with representatives from the Canadian Environmental Law Association and EcoJustice, she addressed the question of whether property rights or legislation is the best way to protect the environment.
